FAQ

Common questions

Everything you need to know before getting started.

Can I form a US LLC if I live outside the United States? +
Yes. There is no requirement to be a US citizen or resident to form an LLC or Corporation in most states. Wyoming and Delaware are especially popular with international entrepreneurs. You will need a US registered agent (which we provide) and a US address for the business.
Which state should I choose? +
For international clients: Wyoming is almost always the best choice — no income tax, strong privacy, and low fees. For startups seeking investment: Delaware C-Corp. For businesses operating physically in a specific state: form in that state. If you're unsure, our intake form will help guide you to the right choice.
How long does the process take? +
Most formations are completed within 5–15 business days depending on the state. Wyoming and Florida typically process in 3–5 business days. Delaware takes 7–10 days standard, or 24 hours with expedited processing. EIN issuance for US residents is same-day; for international clients it takes 4–6 weeks via IRS mail.
What is a registered agent and do I need one? +
A registered agent is a person or company designated to receive legal and government documents on behalf of your business. Every LLC and Corporation is legally required to have one in the state they're formed in. We provide registered agent service through a trusted partner for the first year, included in all plans.
What is a BOI / FinCEN filing? +
The Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) report is a federal filing required under the Corporate Transparency Act for most US businesses. It discloses the beneficial owners of your company to FinCEN (Financial Crimes Enforcement Network). We handle this filing for you as part of the Premium plan or as a $79 add-on.
Do you offer ongoing compliance support? +
Yes. After formation, every client receives a compliance calendar with their state's annual report due date and any other ongoing requirements. We send reminders before deadlines and offer annual report filing, registered agent renewal, and compliance support as ongoing services.
